Ann’s story
“I was very overweight, unfit, exhausted and stressed… I was struggling. I felt overwhelmed and pulled in so many different directions. I cried a lot. I felt that I'd lost a sense of myself along with my spark and fire. I felt embarrassed about how much weight I'd put on and about how unfit I was.
I was literally surviving day to day. I felt constantly stressed and exhausted.
I knew I needed to make changes. I wanted to be a fit & healthy mum. I wanted my life back, & to become more physically and mentally resilient to cope with the demands of my life.
Beth has such a warm, empathic and compassionate nature so I found her very easy to talk to. She is very authentic so I felt I could be totally honest with her. I admire her spirit, her fire and her determination.
I knew after the first session that Beth was someone who I needed in my life for me. I feel like I'm hanging out with a mate doing awesome things!
We regularly reasses to make sure that I get the most of my training. I love how I fit my personalised workouts around my busy life. I love (maybe debatable at times!) that Beth pushes me when I'm ready to. I’m learning so much on this journey.
Now I feel fit, strong, determined and unstoppable! I have so much more energy and am more mentally resilient. So far I've lost 22.7kg. I'm learning to focus on my fitness goals rather than the scales.
I've learnt how to enjoy my own company, and trust my instincts and capabilities. Friends and family have noticed how much happier and less stressed I am.
My social circle has expanded, & the changes that I have made have inspired my children. I cope with life so much better.
I feel as if I'm back to being me, the person that I want to be.”
